The 2011-2012 Ridgeland High School Choir is comprised of a Concert Choir, SSA Choir, Chamber Choir, SSA Madrigals, High School Sextet and Etcetera Show Choir.  Members of the Choir will be performing in New York City at Carnegie Hall March 29-April 1, 2012 presented by Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY). Choir will be directed by Eric Whitacre.

The High School Sextet and SSA Madrigals competed at Riverland Chorale Festival at Pearl High School on Saturday, November 5, 2011.  Both ensembles received Superior Ratings.  For the third consecutive year, the Sextet received "Best In Class" Honors.

The 2010-2011 Ridgeland High School Choir is comprised of a Concert Choir, SSA Choir, Chamber Choir, Lady Madrigals, Mixed Ensemble, High School Sextet, Freshmen Sextet and Etcetera Show Choir. 

 At Riverland Chorale Festival in November 2010, the Lady Madrigals received All Superior Ratings and the High School Sextet received superiors ratings and "Best In Class". 

Competing at District Six Choral Festival and State Choral Festival, the RHS Choral Program received Superior Ratings in the following:  Concert Choir, SSA Choir, Lady Madrigals, Mixed Ensemble, High School Sextet, Freshmen Sextet,  SAB Sightreading, and SSA Sightreading. 

In addition, the Concert Choir and SSA Choir also received the Sweepstakes Award.  Congratulations Choir on a very successful 2010-2011 school year.

 The Choirs and Ensembles have performed for the Holiday and Spring Concerts, Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program, Veteran's Day, Make-A-Wish Concert, and various community events.

The Choral Program is under the direction of Ms. Lisa Clark.  Ms. Clark was awarded the 2010 Mississippi Music Educator Of The Year.
